PSMFC Regional Mark Processing Center and RMIS operate through the guidance of the Pacific Salmon Commission and the Regional Committee on Marking and Tagging. Each committee is involved with the production and/or management of information regarding salmon fisheries throughout this region. The committees represent very diverse perspectives, projects, and investments in fisheries resources by the nations, tribes, agencies, and other interested parties.
